  2. Hello, I'm Brittany. I've been natural for almost a year now. After I wash my hair, I detangle and moisturize it and then add an oil to seal it. I then braid my hair loosely so that it doesn't hold a firm pattern. I rubber band the ends, let it air dry for a bit and then blow dry my hair on a low setting to finish the drying process. Remove the rubber bands and it's stretched!

    1. Hello Brittany! That's a really great idea! We've done the rubber band/hair tie method before but never on loose braids. Good to know! Would you happen to have pics of your stretched hair before and after? We're looking to have a post on different stretching techniques and their results.

  3. I usually wash my hair with two strand twist still in my head so that I can prevent as much shrinkage as possible! :)
